Below is a list of former Big Brother Naija’s former housemates who failed to live up to our expectations, as we have realized that they are mostly overrated.
1. Ka3na
‘Ka3na The Boss Lady’ was one of those who caught the attention of the viewers right from her entry into the Big Brother Naija House. She painted herself as an ambitious woman and a goal-getter who needed the platform for her business. She knew what she wanted and that was one of the qualities the viewers looked out for, originality.
However, the narrative began to change after she left the house and we did realize that she was not all that she claimed to be. There were incidences where her former staff called her out over salaries, as well as, ill-treatment.
2. Gifty
Gifty began to shoot herself in the leg at the point when we realized that her accent was fake. She was able to capture the attention of both the viewers and her fellow housemates at the time. However, this did not last for long
3. Efe
Efe was the winner of the Big Brother Naija season 2 and asides from that, he portrayed himself as an entertainer, who was quite serious about his music career, but after a couple of tracks, he went down the drain.
4. Miracle
Apart from winning the Big Brother Naija Season 3, and being a pilot, Miracle is all hype and no show. Although he was quite focused while in the house, always winning head of the house and acing their tasks, but after his exit from the Big Brother house, he disappeared into thin air and refused to develop his brand as we all expected.
Almost like he wasted the platform.
5. Kiddwaya
Kiddwaya is by far one of the most overrated ex-Big Brother Naija housemates. To most people, he would not have gotten the sort of recognition he got if he was not a billionaire heir.
While in the Big Brother House, Kiddwaya was not competitive enough to ace their tasks, unlike the likes of Nengi, Prince, and Dorathy, and when it came to performing, he made a joke out of everything.
